Like all the tourist destinations all over the world, the Ayia Napa – Protaras area offer a lot of different type of entertainment both day and night. During the day time, the first choice of course is swimming, but there is also the choice of a visit to the Water Park. Based on the Greek Mythology, the Water Park in Ayia Napa is considered to be the biggest Water Theme Park in Europe and boasts a whole range of slides, pools and adventures that ranks it high in the attractions list all over Cyprus, not only for the visitors, but for the local residents as well.

A visit to the Aquarium is also worthy. You can see nearly 3,000 kind of fish from the nearby waters of the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, the Pacific to the West and the Indian Ocean to the East. Almost anything that swims in the sea can be found at the Aquarium at Protaras, including sharks and even penguins.

When the sun goes down then the options for a night out are numerous. You can start with one of the hundreds of restaurants of different styles and tastes, while a visit to a local tavern to enjoy the typical Cyprus meze (LOTS of different dishes and a great way to try lots of Cypriot food) is a must. After that, there are plenty of bars and pubs that offer all kind of music and drinks while the night ends or the day starts at the discos and world class clubs.

If you fancy a more quiet night, then visit the amazing Dancing Waters in Protaras – a unique spectacular show, with colourful waters dancing to the rhythm of well known melodies and a must for a family night out.

This perky, cosmopolitan area has it all. A vibrant, diverse and in many ways, an extraordinary spot with a magnetism all of its own, both Ayia Napa and Protaras get both locals and tourists together to enjoy all the favourite night spots.
